Arabophone, francophone et anglophone, la pluralité linguistique égale sa pluralité culturelle et religieuse. Le Liban a trouvé, ou retrouvé, une homogénéité nationale indispensable à la refonte politique et économique du pays. De nombreuses personnalités œuvrent afin de mettre en place toutes les institutions et procédures afin de hisser le Liban au premier plan des pays novateurs dans le Moyen-Orient tout en ayant une dimension s’étendant dans les pays du Golfe et dans le Maghreb.
